By booking with K9 360 Dog Training (“K9 360,” “we,” or “us”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These policies are in place to ensure safety, transparency, and professionalism in all training services provided.
1. Bookings & Payments
Bookings are confirmed once a deposit or full payment is received.
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations within 7 days of start date may result in forfeiture of all payments.
All fees must be paid in full prior to or on commencement of training.
Early collection of a dog from a Board & Train program does not qualify for a refund.
2. Vaccinations, Health & Medications
All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations (C5 or equivalent).
Dogs must be free of fleas, ticks, and contagious illness.
Owners must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions.
Medications:
• All medications must be clearly labelled with the dog’s name, dosage, and instructions.
• Only prescribed or vet-approved medications will be administered.
• Owners must provide written instructions for dosage, frequency, and administration method.
• K9 360 staff will administer medications as directed but accept no responsibility for side effects or adverse reactions.
• Additional fees may apply for dogs requiring complex medication schedules, injections, or extra handling.In an emergency, K9 360 may seek veterinary care at the owner’s expense.
3. Behaviour Disclosure
Owners must advise K9 360 staff, or record in the booking system, if their dog has:
• Escape behaviours (digging, climbing, jumping fences, or noise sensitivity)
• A history of aggression or bites (towards humans or dogs)
• Reactivity to people, dogs, or other animals
• Any other known risk behavioursFailure to disclose this information may result in additional fees of $250 per day, refusal of service, or termination of a booking.
4. Training Services
Training involves physical exercise, handling, and behavioural modification. Risks may include stress, injury, or unpredictable outcomes.
Results are not guaranteed; success depends on the dog’s temperament, history, and owner consistency.
Owners agree to follow up training and handling practices as advised by K9 360 staff.
5. Specific Activities
5.1 Board & Train
Dogs are housed at our Spring Creek facility for the duration of their training program.
Daily handling, training, and environmental conditioning are provided.
Owners will receive updates, and a handover session is conducted at program completion.
5.2 Private Lessons
Owners are expected to actively participate in lessons.
Results depend on consistent practice outside of sessions.
5.3 Paddock Walks & Environmental Training
Conducted in natural environments with risks such as uneven ground, wildlife, and water hazards.
Dogs must remain under control at all times; leads are required where instructed.
5.4 Slat Mill Use
Exercise device where dogs run at variable speeds and resistance levels.
Risks include overheating, muscle strain, or falls.
Dogs must not be left unattended on the slat mill.
5.5 K9 Super Wall
High-intensity climbing/jumping activity with risks of strain or injury.
Only suitable for physically fit dogs as assessed by staff.
6. Liability Waiver
By participating in training services, the Owner acknowledges and accepts that:
Training and activities carry inherent risks.
K9 360, its staff, and affiliates are released from liability for injury, illness, or loss arising from training participation.
The Owner is responsible for their dog’s actions and agrees to indemnify K9 360 from any related claims or costs.
7. Media & Promotion
Photos and videos of training may be used for educational or promotional purposes.
Owners who do not wish their dog to appear in media must notify K9 360 in writing.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
